Grippo’s Bar-B-Q Potato Chips – The Perfect Christmas Gift
This past Christmas, my sister and brother-in-law gave my wife and I the PERFECT Christmas gift. They put together two baskets of food products that are manufactured in the Cincinnati area. This is a very special treat, because I am from that area and miss a lot of the local food.
Most places I have traveled around the country have some great local food fare, but in my humble opinion, Cincinnati has more than it’s fair share. I miss a lot of those products, so this was a great gift.
It contained some Cincinnati Chili seasoning (one of my very favorite foods), Barqs Red Cream Soda (try finding that around Virginia), and White Castle coffee, to name a few. One of the products that I had forgotten about from my childhood, was Grippo’s Bar-B-Q potato chips.
Folks, it is simple as this. You haven’t had a barbecue potato chip until you have had Grippo’s! Or, as my late father-in-law would say, “Dangle them just out of reach and they will make a puppy pull a freight train!”
